Corlette Point Road is a quiet No-Through road that runs behind the beach to Corlette Headland Reserve and Peppers Anchorage Resort & Marina.

Corlette Point Road is generally considered to be the most desirable address in Port Stephens.

It takes about 1-minute to walk from The Anchor Light to Corlette Beach and 3-minutes to Peppers.

And it takes about 40-minutes to walk along the Waterfront Path into Nelson Bay.

Corlette Beach is a 30-minute drive from Newcastle Airport and a 2½-hour drive north of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

The Anchor Light was purpose built in 2005 and it is new and very modern.

It was designed for a high level of privacy and guests choose whether (or not) to interact with staff and each other.

And from bespoke hardwood furniture to fastidiously clean ensuite bathrooms we are well known for attention to detail including —

Our room tariff includes a self-catered breakfast of cereals, preserved fruits, yoghurt, juice, tea and coffee.

There are a number of great walks that are easily accessible from The Anchor Light.

While some of our guests just sit on the beach all day with a good book ...

Others wander along The Waterfront Path into Nelson Bay for lunch.

The walk along the Marina seawall at Peppers is one of our favourites as we often see dolphins and turtles.

And, in the cooler months, we sometimes see Fairy Penguins chasing bait fish in the Marina.

The Anchor Light is a short walk from some excellent restaurants and cafes.

It is close to the main Shopping Centre of Port Stephens at Salamander Bay.

And also to The Anchorage Marina at Peppers where you can hire a bike or rent a dinghy ... book a fishing charter or learn to sail ...
