Corlette Beach is the best sandy beach in Port Stephens.
And it is far enough away from Nelson Bay — the epicentre of tourism and holiday apartments at Port Stephens — to relax and unwind.
Corlette Point Road is a quiet No-Through road that runs behind the beach to Corlette Headland Reserve and the exclusive Peppers Anchorage Resort
& Marina.
Corlette Point Road is generally considered to be the most desirable
address in Port Stephens.
It takes about 1-minute to walk from The Anchor Light to Corlette Beach and 3-minutes to Peppers.
And it takes about 40-minutes to walk along the Waterfront Path into Nelson Bay.
The Anchor Light is in a great location. And our guests also have
access to the finest facilities at Peppers —
There's the Day Spa, the Marina coffee shop ... exceptional dining at Merretts Restaurant.
And the view over Port Stephens from the Captain's Bar is sensational.
Corlette Beach is a 30-minute drive from Newcastle Airport and a 2½-hour drive north of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
The Anchor Light was purpose built in 2005 and it is new and very
modern.
It was designed for a high level of privacy and guests choose whether (or not) to interact with staff and each other.
And from bespoke hardwood furniture to fastidiously clean ensuite bathrooms we are well known for attention to detail including —
... top quality mattresses and soft furnishings, Egyptian
cotton bed linens and luxurious Sheridan bath towels.
Our room tariff includes a self-catered breakfast of fresh fruits, cereals, yoghurt, juice and tea & coffee.
Many of our guests choose to enjoy the morning sunshine and breakfast
on their private decks.
However, our Guest Rooms also have an indoor Breakfast Area for those who prefer complete privacy.
There are a number of great walks that are easily accessible from
The Anchor Light.
While some of our guests just sit on the beach all day with a good book ...
Others wander along The Waterfront Path into Nelson Bay for lunch.
The walk along the Marina seawall at Peppers is one of our favourites as we often see dolphins and turtles.
And, in the cooler months, we sometimes see Fairy Penguins chasing bait fish in the Marina.
The Beach House is a 4-bedroom holiday house that is ideal for two
families and larger groups.
It is particularly well suited for small children as the backyard is fully fenced and has plenty of grass and trees and open space.
Please note that The Beach House is an older style house.
It has recently been renovated and refurbished and is in excellent condition.
Corlette Beach is the best sandy beach in Port Stephens and it is very
popular with young families.
The reserve that runs behind the beach has BBQ and playground areas at either end.
And The Waterfront Path that winds its way through the reserve is a great place for kids to ride their
bikes and scooters.
The Anchor Light properties are a short walk from some excellent
restaurants and cafes.
They are close to the main Shopping Centre of Port Stephens at Salamander Bay.
And also to The Anchorage Marina at Peppers where you can hire a bike or
rent a dinghy ... book a fishing charter or learn to sail ...
