D'Albora Marina at Nelson Bay from the Path at West Point. Grab some fish & chips at the Co-Op and sit on the rockwall — you won't regret it.

You can walk (or ride) along the foreshore from The Anchor Light all the way to Tomaree Head and the entrance of Port Stephens.

Barry Park at Fingal Bay has picnic tables and BBQs and is a great place to have lunch and watch the whales between May and November.
